Jap 'n' Jeep Jam

Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam

National Off-Road Jamboree

12th - 13th June 2010

Sibbertoft 4x4 Off-Road Centre
Welford Road, Husbands Bosworth
nr. Market Harborough, Leics LE16 9UJ

Welcome to the biggest and best, value-for-money 4x4 event of the year!

Featuring all manner of off-road vehicles including 4x4’s and ATV’s, together with accessories and associated equipment, hailing solely from Japan, the USA, Korea and Asia.

The concept behind Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam is simple - to provide an inexpensive (very important these days), fun, family weekend ... a big ‘get together’ if you like, the way 4x4 events used to be!

Also all 4x4's from the USA - Jeep of course, plus Hummers, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Willys, Dodge, etc. Likewise all other Asian four-wheel-drives such as the Rocsta, Hyundai, SsangYong, Mahindra, Tata, etc. Sorry owners, but apart from traders and officials there will no Land Rovers on site. Not against them, but with so many LR events in the calendar Jap ‘n’ Jeep Jam is solely for non-green oval enthusiasts.

Optional reduced fee off-road course.

Offroad FronteraNosedive

£15 or £25 for day or weekend off-road passes for the large on-site off-road course.

Gymkhana-type interclub competitions. Jap vs Jeeps? Now that would be fun!

Have you an unusual competition 4x4 ...
Splash Custom Hilux
... or an extra special custom display truck such as this Toyota, then ask the organiser as you could qualify for free entry

Trader Spaces Available

Although it is anticipated there will be a fair few Trade Stands and Autojumblers attending, with the economy the way it is please don't expect hundreds. The show is primarily a social gathering, therefore every trader who does attend we regard as a bonus!

On Site Camping and Entertainment

There will be cheap on-site camping for tents, caravans and motorhomes, and evening entertainment in the beer tent on Friday and Saturday nights.

New this year will be a “Twist-Off Ramp” in the arena, a new off-road area called “Winch Wood” – ‘cause nobody has driven it so far – and stuff going on in the beer tent both Friday and Saturday nights. Sat night will be the big ‘un with a BBQ, when it gets dark a “Sound Off Competition” (just how loud and bling with lights & gismos is your truck?) swiftly followed by a disco complete with smoke/lasers/the works … plus the bar of course!

That said, don’t expect a ‘show’ as such with loads of trade stands, JJJ is a good, ol’ fashioned get-together weekend where the emphasis is on inexpensive off-roading and the club scene, not big traders with mega bucks displays. JJJ is for us enthusiasts, pure and simple.

World Cup

Everyone is welcome in the beer tent to watch the England's opening game in the football World Cup against USA. Don't expect a massive screen however, but a 25" set should suffice especially if we are all huddled around it all cosy like!!!

Match starts at 19:30 so will finish around 9:15, just right for start of the disco and the arrival of the trucks for the "Sound Off Competition" who won't really get going until it's dark around 22:00ish.

Naturally the bar will be serving, plus there will be a BBQ if you can’t be bothered to cook your own.

Pace yourselves folks, I have a feeling it's gonna be a long long night!
